This area comprises the storage room of the flux tank and the area between the
spray nozzle and the board wetted with flux material.
DANGER
Fire hazard due to flammable vapours!
Possible personal and material damage!
a) Check the pressure container before putting it into the storage room.
b) Open the shutoff valve on the flux material tank only in the storage room!
c) Filling the pressure vessel in the storage room is prohibited!
d) Immediately clean up spilled flux or cleaning agents!
e) In addition, observe the safety notes in the [Maintenance and repair] chapter!

3.3 Subject-related safety instructions
3.3.1 Handling electrical equipment
DANGER
Dangerous electrical voltage!
Serious injury or death from electric shock!
ü Work on the electrical system or the machine electrical devices must be under-
taken only by a skilled electrician or by properly trained people under the supervi-
sion and guidance of a skilled electrician in accordance with the electro-technical
rules.
a) Shut off the work area with a red and white safety chain and a warning sign.
b) Disconnect all the machine and system parts on which inspections or service and
repair work are carried out.
c) Parts which have been disconnected must first be checked for voltage, then
earthed and short-circuited as well as secured against being switched on again.
Isolate any adjacent live components.
d) Use only original fuses with the specified current rating.
e) Use only voltage insulated tools.
f) In case of faults in the power supply, switch off the system immediately.
3.3.2 Handling pneumatic equipment
CAUTION
Highly pressurized machine parts!
Personal or material damage due to pressurized machine parts or unexpected move-
ment of the mechanism!
ü Work on the machine pneumatic and hydraulic devices may only be carried out by
professionals with the appropriate skills.
a) Read pneumatic and hydraulic plans!
b) System sections and pressure pipes to be opened must be depressurized before
any repair or maintenance work!
3.3.3 Dealing with process materials and substances
CAUTION
Irritating substances!
Personal injury or property damage when dealing with oils, greases, chemicals!
a) Read the rules applicable to the product safety data sheets before use!

3|For your safety
DANGER
Hot supplies, hot excipients, liquid metal!
Risk of burns when dealing with fuels, additives and liquid metal!
a) Be aware of the in-house provision for protective clothing!
b) Work on the hot machine must only be carried out by trained and qualified per-
sonnel!
DANGER
Substances hazardous to health!
Risk of poisoning by inhalation or ingestion!
a) Flux fumes are produced during soldering. These are harmful to health. Do not
eat, drink or smoke in places where soldering is carried out!
b) Traces of lead from the soldering adhering to a person's hands may access the hu-
man organism via food or cigarettes (health hazard). After touching solder, clean
your hands thoroughly!
CAUTION
toxic fumes!
Risk of poisoning by inhalation!
a) During soldering, gas emissions arise from the module or from the solder paste
used. These gas emissions are harmful.
b) With respect to respiratory protection, the operator must observe the processing
instructions specified in the safety data sheets of the solder pastes and fluxes
used!
