DANGER
Severe or fatal injury from hot machine! Hot pot containing molten metal!
ü For any work being carried out, take the following safety precautions:
a) Touching the pot during operation is forbidden!
b) Allow the pot to cool down to room temperature before carrying out service and
cleaning work! On this regard, observe the solder temperature at the machine
terminal!
c) During the solder heating and cooling, molten metal can splash out of the pot!
The machine protective plates must therefore remain closed during heating and
cooling!
d) Open protective plates only when the solder has solidified completely.
e) Service and cleaning work on hot pots must always be carried out by trained and
qualified personnel!

Fig.117: Sensors on the axis system
ü Visual inspection of all sensors in the axis system:
a) let the machine cool down.
b) Open hoods and doors in the area of the axis systems.
c) Remove and clean any existing blankets.
d) Clean dirty components.
e) Check sensors and holders (1) for tightness. Retighten loose screws and nuts.
Replace defective holders and missing screws. Have damaged components re-
placed by a qualified electrician.
f) Visual inspection of all switching cams (2). Check the switching cams for tight-
ness. Retighten loose screws and nuts. Clean dirty components. Replace de-
fective holders and missing screws.
ð The process has now been completed.

DANGER
Risk of injury due to gloves entrapment!
ü When working on the running conveyor system:
a) Let the machine cool down to room temperature!
b) Do not wear gloves!
c) Keep fingers away from moving parts (transport chains, gear wheels, gear racks)!
d) For the lubrication of the conveyor chains use a brush, a dosage bottle or a spray!
ü To inspect the conveyor system:
a) Visually inspect all components of the conveyor system. Smooth and soft run-
ning must be guaranteed.
b) Clean dirty components. In the fluxer area, use a cleaning agent recommend by
the flux producer.
c) Visual inspection of all holders (1). Re-tighten loose holders. Replace defective
holders and missing screws and nuts.
ð The process has now been completed.
With regard to this, please read Chapters Cleaning agents used [

NOTE
For lubrication, a thin film of oil is enough!
If the conveyor chains are excessively lubricated, they get dirty very quickly. Clean
contaminated conveyor chains before lubricating them!
ü To lubricate the conveyor system:
a) Lubricate the conveyor chain (1) and the drive chain (2) for the roller conveyor.
b) Apply oil to the conveyor chains while the conveyor is running.
c) Remove excess oil with a lint-free cleaning cloth.
ð The process has now been completed.
ü To check the round belts of the roller conveyor:
a) Visual inspection of the round belts (3).
ð The round belts must be taut on the rollers (4).
b) Replace any loose, porous or pale discoloured round belt.
ð The process has now been completed.
With regard to this, please read the Lubricants used [
}299] Chapter.
