Electrostatic dissipative, adhesive backed Polyester film for indoor use
1. Required tools
2. Preparing the surface
3. Applying the film - step by step
4. Maintenance und cleaning
1. Required tools
• Tape-rule
• Ruler
• Non fluffing rag
• Carpet knife
• Rubber wiper (15 - 20 cm width)
• Transparent adhesive tape
• Spray bottle, filled with distillated water and a non-soaping shampoo ( 6 drops for 1 litre
water)
2. Preparing the surface
• Keep the working area free of dust and other dirt
• Clean the surface thorough with a glass or plastic cleaner
• Dry the surface with the wiper
• Remove the residual liquid with the non fluffing rag
3. Applying the film - step by step
Step 1
• Measure the usable area
• Tailor the foil in size, adding 2 cm on each side (the add-on will be cut-off afterwards)
Step 2
• Moisten the surface with the prepared spray bottle. The surface should be wet during the
whole sticking process.
Step 3
• Stick on a piece of adhesive tape at one edge of the foil to easily pull off the transparent
protection film.
• Moisten the adhesive overleaf with the spray bottle
Step 4
• Apply the wet adhesive foil carefully to the wet surface. It is important that both sides are
moist.
• Thread the film carefully to avoid creases

• Moisture the foils front side with the spray bottle and strip off the embedded moisture and air
bubbles using the rubber wiper
• Use the rubber wiper in brief cycles, start at the middle and work to the outside:

Caution:
• Don't wipe the whole area at once, make brief movements
• Don't use the wiper near to the edges until the margins had been cut-off
Step 6
• Cut the margins using the carpet knife.
• Moisture the foils front side again with the spray bottle and strip off the embedded moisture
and air bubbles with the rubber wiper. Make single movements over the whole area
For optimum application the dissipative surface of the foil should be grounded!
Important:
The foil shouldn't be cleaned during the first week.
4. Maintenance and cleaning
• Use distillated water and non-soaping shampoo for cleaning the surface
• Use smooth, non fluffing fabric for cleaning
• Don't use cleaning powder for surface cleaning
• Never use solvent or chemicals for cleaning
