Behaviour of the machine when closing the protection device:
Acknowledge the corresponding message on the machine control terminal after
closing the protection device! The machine will only restart after acknowledging
the corresponding message.
NOTE
The automatic start of the conveyor is possible!
In certain situations, the conveyors can restart automatically after closing the protec-
tion device. For example, if the soldering material has not been completely fluxed, it is
conveyed out of the machine immediately after closing the protection device. This
does not pose any immediate danger to the user.
With respect to this, please read Chapter Operation of the modules, module main-
tenance [}242].

3.2.10 Door- and window interlocking system (optional)
The door and window interlocking system prevents machine doors and windows
from opening:
In the [Movement off] operation mode, the door and window interlocking sys-
tem is disabled. In this operation mode, doors and windows can be opened
anytime.
In all other operation modes the doors / windows on the soldering unit and
fluxer module can only be opened if the [Module maintenance] is active on the
relevant module.
For preheat modules, the [Module maintenance] is not available. If you want to
open a door / window in the preheater area, enable the [Module maintenance]
for the upstream and downstream module respectively.
If two preheat modules are arranged one behind the other, enable the [Mod-
ule maintenance] for the upstream and downstream module respectively. Then
you can open the doors / windows on both preheaters.
If you have closed all windows again, manually disable the [Module mainten-
ance] on the modules concerned.
Despite active module maintenance, there are still some residual risks!
DANGER
Severe or fatal injury from hot machine!
The entire machine is hot during operation and contains liquid metal!
a) Service on the hot machine may only be carried out by specially trained staff,
qualified for this type of work! For these types of work, a company internal oper-
ating procedure for protective clothing is to be issued!
b) You should always take into account the possibility for metal to spray out!
c) Special care is required when refilling the pot and working on the pot!
With respect to this, please read Chapter Operation of the modules, module main-
tenance [}242].
