Troubleshooting
Defective NCIO board (only for the Excen machine)
Defective base control board (only for the Excen machine)
[How to Check]
Replace the SBC board and check whether the MMI is properly executed
Check whether the image in the ErrorVisFile of the D drive has no problem
After checking whether the SBC board is properly connected to the vision board
connector, check whether the vision board, RT board, NCIO board and ZMP board are
properly inserted into the back plane slot
Reinstall the MMI and check whether the same problem occurs
Check whether the Windows XP time setup is correct
Replace the back plane board and check whether the MMI is properly executed
Replace the NCIO master board and check whether the MMI is properly executed
Replace the Base Control board and check whether the MMI is properly executed
[Measures]
Replace the SBC board.
Delete the image on which the saving date is not indicated and perform a virus check
periodically.
Check whether the CPU module is properly inserted into the SBC board; whether the
SBC board is properly connected to the vision board connector; and whether the vision
board, RT board, NCIO board and ZMP board are properly inserted into the back
plane board.
Reinstall the MMI.
Check whether a back plane pin is bent and insert the vision, RT, NCIO and ZMP
boards properly again.
Change the Windows O/S or delete the folder in which vision error images are saved.
Replace the back plane.
Replace the NCIO master board.
Replace the Base Control board.
E0601 The MMI does not operate and the PC has been shut down (occurred during MMI
operation)
[Cause]
The program runs slowly and the PC is shut down due to an overheated CPU as the PC
rack cooling fan does not operate
Defective SBC board
The Windows system file is damaged

Fast & Flexible Chip Shooter DECAN F2 Service Manual
The board operates abnormally due to an increase in the internal temperature of the PC
rack
Defective PC power supply
The part data is damaged due to a virus infection
Defective back plane board
An I/O communication error occurred due to a damaged system file of the MMI
program
The SBC board and CPU were damaged due to an overheated CPU caused by a
defective CPU cooling fan
A problem occurred to the contacts of the boards due to foreign materials including
dust in the PC rack
[How to Check]
Check whether the PC rack cooling fan operates properly
Check whether the CPU cooling fan operates properly. If it has no problem, replace
the SBC board and check whether the MMI is executed properly
Check for damage to the system file referring to the Windows error information
Check whether the temperature at the site is higher than 24ºC
Check whether the input and output of the PC power supply has any problems
Check for virus infection using an anti-virus program
Replace the back plane board and check whether the MMI is properly executed
Check whether the system file of the MMI program has any problems
After checking whether the CPU cooling fan operates properly, check the SBC board
and CPU for any problems
Check inside the PCB rack and remove foreign materials including dust. Remove the
board and insert them again and then check for the any reoccurrence of the same
problem
[Measures]
Replace the PC rack of the cooling fan.
Replace the CPU cooling fan and SBC board.
Perform HDD recovery and reinstall the MMI.
Remove the dummy slot cover and discharge the heat inside the PC rack. Then reboot
the PC and execute the MMI.
Replace the PC power supply unit.
