Clearing of the nozzle outer
Tool to be used:
Cotton swab and
waste cloth
Recommended solution:
IPA
1) Clean the inside of the nozzle outer with a cotton swab dampened with alcohol.
2) Clean the surface and the spring section of the nozzle outer with alcohol.
Lubrication item
Applying oil or grease to the nozzle outer after
cleaning it
Lubrication frequency:
Every mouth
Tools to be used:
Cotton swab and waste cloth
Oil to be used: New
Defrex No. 1
Grease to be used: 6459
Grease N
1) Apply oil to the circumference of the nozzle outer and the area between the nozzle outer and the
outer spring holder with a cotton swab. After applying oil, blow the excessive oil with an air gun or
similar device, and then wipe it off with waste cloth.
2) Use a tip of toothpick or similar tool to apply rice-gain sized of 6459 Grease N around the section
specified in the figure below (gap between the nozzle outer and the outer spring holder so that the
nozzle outer can slide well).
3) Move the nozzle outer up and down twenty to thirty times to spread grease over the nozzle outer.

1) If there is a chip or a foreign substance on the “slide plate ①,” it may cause a nozzle
detachment/attachment failure.
Clean the slide plate with waste cloth or similar cloth dampened with alcohol.

Feeder bank
Cleaning frequency:
Every week
How to clean
Cleaning of dust and/or a foreign substance from the feeder
bank
Tool to be used:
Cleaner Brush
1) Clean the feeder bank on regular basis.
In addition, clean the feeder bank with a cleaner or similar device if there is a foreign substance such
as a chip on it before attaching a feeder such as a tape feeder on it.

bank
Tool to be used:
Brush and/or cleaner
1) Clean the overall feeder exchange trolley on regular basis.
In addition, clean the feeder bank with a cleaner or similar device if there is a foreign substance
such as a chip on it before attaching a feeder such as a tape feeder on it.
2) Check to see if there is no foreign substances such as a chip around the “bank locating pin” (both
sides
<For an electric feeder>
1) Before inserting a feeder exchange trolley into the main unit, clean off the topside of the bank lifter
with a cleaner or other tool if there is any foreign substance such as a chip component on the
topside of the bank lifter.
2) Check to see if there is no foreign substance such as a chip component around the “bank locating
pins” (on both sides) also.
3) Check to see if there is no foreign substance such as a chip component around [O-Ring] (right-hand
side) also.
