How to execute a command
Selecting a command
When you select a menu (inside the red dotted frame) displayed in the Operation area, you can
select a command.
In the example above, the Filemenu is selected on the main menu to display its sub menu.
When you select the desired command button from the sub menu, you can execute the
corresponding function.
As for the main commands, you can execute each of them by pressing the corresponding shortcut
menu button displayed in the Information area.
If you press such a menu button while the application program is being executed, it is executed after
the end process of the application is performed.

Dialog boxes and controls
When you select a command, the dialog box appears on the screen if the system needs the
additional information to execute the selected command.
Several controls are pasted on the dialog box, and they allow you to enter the additional information.
How to use each control is described below.
(1) Push buttons
When you click a push button, the system executes the operation associated with the button
immediately.
(2) Check boxes
Check boxes are provided to allow you to select various options or determine the setting ON or
OFF. You can select any number of check boxes when necessary.
A check mark inside a box indicates that the item is enabled (in the ON status).
When you select the desired check box, the selection state is switched to this check box.
(3) Radio buttons
Radio buttons allows you to select the mutually exclusive items, that is, you can select only one
button.
An item whose button is colored is currently selected.
Two or more radio buttons cannot be selected (depressed) at the same time.

(4) List box
A list box allows you to select one among the items displayed on the list.
When the input focus moves to the list box, the selected item is highlighted.
If all items cannot be displayed on the list box at a time, the scroll bar appears on the right side
of the list box. When you move the scroll bar up or down, items displayed within the list box
are moved accordingly.
If the desired item is not displayed in the initial state, move the scroll bar to display it, and then
select it.
(5) Edit boxes
An edit box allows you to enter a numeric value or character string.
You can edit the value or character string already entered in an edit box also.
(6) Combo boxes
A combo box is a combination of an edit box and a list box. Normally, only an edit box is
displayed as a combo box on the screen. When you select the button displayed on the
right frame of a combo box, a list box appears on the screen as a pull-down menu.
